Be Happy! It's Beautiful on You

Hello again everyone!         OK so for today's post I want to talk about how to be happy with what you've got and where you are right now... and how doing that makes you absolutely beautiful. I know, it seems very hard to do right now. I know that many of you are facing insecurities about your body and appearance, but I am here to help you through this by giving you insights and teaching you to how to heal yourself. We all know that happiness is very attractive to everyone, so why not choose to be happy right now? If you come up with a list of reasons, then you will always come up with a list of reasons. They will keep changing and adding on. Trust me, I know, I've been there! When someone had asked me that question, why not be happy now, I responded that I will only be happy once I've reached my goal weight. My friend had said "then you will never be happy, you have to be happy now". I argued with her saying, "no I will!" But she was right. Even...

You Are Not Your Weight

Hello again everyone!         For today's post I want to talk about perspectives on weight, and how we let that affect how we view and define ourselves. This is certainly a topic that I have personally struggled with the most, out of all my topics so far, since I was a preteen. Unfortunately many other people also share my struggles with weight, especially since it's such a focus topic in our society, whether it's discussing the struggles and trying to find solutions, or praising and idolizing other's for their "perfect" bodies. The term "weight loss" still may catch your eye, but now relates to high hopes and disappointments, since we have tried it all, and no permanent solution has worked. But with a glimmer of hope and yearning desire to lose weight, you try again. I know, I've been there too! The endless cycle of trying and failing, making you start to think and believe that your ideal weight is truly impossible to achieve. But I've rec...

Stand In Your Confidence

Welcome back beautiful people!         OK so for today's post, I want to discuss how to stand strong in how you hold yourself... to own your confidence. There are so many women and young girls out there who demonstrate a bit of a "wobbly" confidence level. It's like you are trying, but not quite getting there. But that's OK! It is a process of life to learn this, and I want to help you along the way. I know what you are going through because I myself used to be on the lower end of the "wobbliness" confidence level; I wanted to be confident, but on the inside I was putting myself down, unsure of myself, and even scared to put myself out there at all. It took a couple of years of growing and learning to get to where I am now, which is at a much healthier level. I learned how to be so much stronger and hold myself with the utmost self assured confidence. So I want to share with you some of my experiences of what and how I learned to get where I am today s...

Love your Body

Hello again everyone!         OK so for today's post I want to talk about body positivity and loving your body. This is something that I personally have struggled with my whole life and have recently overcome. I know that I am not alone here, and that many other women struggle with these same issues. There has been some great progress in this area, with having more realistic models model popular clothing brands and such, which is amazing! We need to keep moving forward in that direction, since there has been so much damage done, and damage that is yet still occurring. I want to help you not only be positive about how you feel about your body, but truly and sincerely LOVE it! Love and be happy about the skin you're in. Let's get down to it and really discuss and address not only what the core issues are, but how to overcome them. So I am going to help guide you through the muddy and trapped thinking of having a negative relationship with your own body.    ...

Embrace your Aging!

Welcome back my beautiful bloggers!         OK so for today’s post I want address the topic of anti-aging, and discuss ways that we can change our views on this process in terms of beauty and how we let it affect inner and outer-selves. I feel that it is important to address this because it is such a huge concern to women in our society. It has become extreme in the sacrifices that some women are making in order to avoid the physical effects of aging in terms of fine lines and wrinkles. Well first of all, you cannot avoid the physical effects of aging.  It is impossible… we are made of flesh not plastic. You can try, but nature does and will always win. So stop stressing about it! Don’t try to control things that are beyond your power. Now I’m going to do the opposite of that. I’m going to ask you to embrace this inevitable process. ‘Embrace it?!’ You may say?…Yes, you heard me, embrace your aging. Resisting it will only cause you further pain. So let go. And...

Beauty Is In The Soul

Hey there!         OK so for today's post, I want to talk about how a beautiful personality is what makes you beautiful inside and out. Haven't you ever met someone whose personality was so big and lovely it completely changed your mind from your first impressions/judgments about them? Their personality is so infectiously wonderful, and shining so brightly, you can't help but know how truly beautiful they really are... despite what beauty "standards" they meet or not. They make you smile and laugh, and you can sense their genuine authenticity for how happy they make you feel while talking to and being around them. You can even sense it in the sound of their voice sometimes. Is their voice soft and gentle? Louder but friendly? Or is it harsh and unappealing? This usually gives an idea of the person with the voice; for example, haven't you ever found that after seeing someone then speaking to them their voice isn't at all what you thought it would be? I...

What is Confidence? And How do You "Get" It?!

Welcome back everybody!         OK so for today's post I want to talk about confidence. Confidence. You know when somebody has it, but it can be difficult to acquire yourself, and sometimes it's even hard to pinpoint why and how to become confident. So I'm here to help break it down for you. First of all, this quality stems from a place of love. All emotions originate from either love or fear. Lack of confidence therefor stems from fear. Fear of embarrassment, rejection, humiliation, and abandonment which can turn into guilt, maybe from not taking care of your body, shame from past childhood experiences, and other forms of trauma related to self worth and the physical body. To heal these issues, you need to work fearlessly on complete love of the self. Loving yourself unconditionally, no matter what. That is confidence. Unconditional love and acceptance of the self. When you meet a person with true confidence, they are beaming with self love...are they not? Of cours...

How I Learned to Love Myself with PCOS

I want to start this blog off by helping you get to know who I am and how far I've come, so that I can help you on your journey to loving yourself too.         When I was 14 years old, I was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. PCOS is a hormonal disorder characterized by acne, extreme difficulty losing weight, blood sugar issues, anxiety, excessive body hair growth, and more. As a super shy and sensitive teenager, I gained the awful habit of being cruel to myself. And the symptoms of PCOS of course made it all worse, and even a reason to hate myself and my body even more. I remember forcing myself to go to the gym in an attempt to lose weight, and shouting at myself on the treadmill "You are FAT, you cannot stop, you have to keep going so you can be skinny!",  which as you can imagine, did not wield successful weight loss results for me. In fact, this cycle of trying and failing got so intense I even ending up fainting at one point, waking up on the...
